Overview
Come explore the island on a safari in Punta Cana. You'll see the typical Dominican villages, schools and learn why they introduced sugar cane culture to the island. You'll enjoy a ride through rice and sugar cane plantations, then see how they extracted sugar cane syrup using a "trapiche" – a wheel grinder pulled by oxen.
