What to expect

An unforgettable full-day excursion where you’ll zip line across the Dominican forest, meet and feed adorable squirrel monkeys To complete this journey, visit a local family on their home. With smiles, they invite you to their farm and their coffee plantation.

About this tour

We begin the tour at the first Zip Line facility in Punta Cana, constructed by one of the most experienced Costa Rica’s Zip Lines circuit builder and certified by the ACCT. At the Welcome Center, our expert canopy guides will teach you all you need to know about the course and the equipment in a safety briefing.

Then you will be conducted to the first platform and will be safely attached with climbing gear to the double line cables after this you will be ready to start “flying” from one platform to another. This activity consists of 18 platforms and 12 Zip Lines, the longest one being 800 meters long! In fact this adventure includes the 2 longest lines in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean stretched across the length of the mountain range throughout 2 kilometers.

Start the second part of the tour coming to the Coconut House where you will introduced to the process of making coconut oil, learn about the way of living of the people in the countryside and taste the most delicious locally produced coffee and coconut. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy some exotic fruit wedges and get souvenirs at unbeatable prices.

Then you will visit Monkeyland, a beautiful 5-acres park home of two groups of charming and intelligent squirrel monkeys. Here you will interact for 45 minutes in close proximity with these adorable and friendly monkeys. They are completely accustomed to human contact and have been formed by a Canadian couple with 35 years of experience working with animals, including 12 years at the Toronto Zoo to teaching monkeys to trust and enjoy the company of humans.

Get ready to see them come down from the trees to sit on your shoulder, eat from your hands, pose for the cameras and even jump on top of your head! As the tour approaches its end, we will invite you to our Ranch, where you have the best views of the mountains. Don’t miss this unforgettable experience at the heart of the Anamuya Mountains!

WOW what an amazing day, we were a group of 21. Ranging in ages of 10 to 68 and all had a blast. We booked our party boat prior to our arrival to DR with Punta Cana Adventures, all my questions and concerns were answered. However I did worry that when the day of pickup comes that no one would not show up ( thinking I may have been scammed ). This was not the case, from the arrival of the very nice bus, with the most exceptionally professional driver ( I am a professional driver myself, so I judge lol ) to the crew on the boat OMG the BEST, they took care of us above and beyond, felt like they were family. We opted for the nachos and fruits, the fruits were fresh as were the chips and salsa. And we danced and partied the day away even made friends and exchanged numbers. I did have a mishap, I left my backpack on the bus, which had money, cell phones and some personal items. Though I would not see it back, made a call to Punta Cana Adventures and told them. They said they will see what they can do, they got back to me in half hour and told me my backpack was on the way to the boat !!! The back pack with all of the items arrived in another half hour to the boat. I don’t what else to say but thank you to Punta Cana Adventures ( shout out to Jean and Modesto ) our bus driver and of course the AMAZING CREW on the boat. BEST EXCURSION EVER, would highly recommend. PS I’m not a person that leaves reviews, but this did deserved a 10 star review.

I went on this trip with my friend Maryia and we had a great time! Cayo Levantado was my favorite. Such a beautiful beach with the mountains in the background. The boat crew were very friendly and polite and the bus picked us up and dropped us off at our airbnb which was awesome. And the lunch provided was delicious. The only thing I didnt like was that it was a very long day. The bus picked us up at 6:30 AM and we didn't get back until about 8 PM so it is just a very long day of traveling.

Punta Cana Adventures took great care of my wife and me on three different excursions. They initiated effective communication and follow-up throughout our experiences... and they even gave us a partial refund when the weather conditions didn't allow us to parasail and SNUBA dive.

Big thank you to Modesto, Jennifer and Jean. They and this company are very hardworking and accommodating to meet all our expectations and needs. Wonderful service throughout, and we couldn't recommend them enough if you're ever in Punta Cana and interested in doing any of the adventure activities, ie. Monkeyland, Dolphins, etc. They were on top of reassuring and making sure our travel and plans were on time and available to us, and even when we stumbled into some technical issues from a different company, they were very quick to accommodate us through their services instead in a well timely manner. Definitely check them out first if possible when going to the Dominican Republic or for any of the services they feature.

This excursion was great!! The dolphin trainers were very knowledgeable about the animals and their well being. We were able to get up close and touch the dolphin many times. We also held a giant stingray and swam with sharks - all being in the ocean. I liked how the facility was in the actual ocean instead of at a man made beach or pool.

This trip was totally worth the price! We had a whale watch, waterfall viewing and beach (with lunch) all in one! I was super impressed with our tour guide Crystal and the driver Danny (have you seen how they drive in the D.R.????). Crystal was fantastic in making sure she catered to English, French and Spanish participants and while it took a while, she did great! I truly loved this experience! Crystal warned us about tipping and how to do it correctly and she was correct to a T! The horse ride up and down the mountain was stressful but only because I was afraid that the horses were hurting on the rough terrain. The boys who guide the horses were helpful but they did make fun of us in Spanish thinking we couldn't understand but we knew some of what they were saying. They were NOT part of the tour company though and it shouldn't reflect on them. Our tour operators were completely professional and I would do this again in a heartbeat!
