Tour Itinerary

Description

This tour offers an unforgettable full-day experience visiting the second largest island in the Dominican Republic, Isla Catalina. Known for having the best snorkeling along the coast, the tour starts by picking guests up from their hotels in comfortable buses via Autovía el Coral to the dock.

The first activity is snorkeling at the famous wall known as La Pared (The Wall). This snorkel area boasts the most interesting coral reef in the island with a diverse array of marine life including live corals, fish, crustaceans, and other species. It is protected and designated as a National Park.

After snorkeling, the tour continues to Isla Catalina, where guests can enjoy its crystal clear waters and white sand beaches in a cozy environment. A traditional Dominican lunch with drinks is served to make it a relaxing and enjoyable day.

As part of the tour, guests can also visit Altos de Chavón, a re-creation of a 16th century Mediterranean–style village. It is one of the most important tourist attractions in the region with several art schools, an amphitheater for large artistic events, and the best view of Rio Chavón.
